12.05. Ceremonial election call with family festival

On Sunday, 12 May 2024 from 2 p.m. in Běła Woda / Weißwasser, accompanied by a colourful supporting programme, the official kick-off for the election to the 2nd Serbski Sejm - Sorbian/Wendish Parliament will take place. A press conference will take place at 4 pm.

At the water tower at Schweigstraße 28 / Schweigowa 28, guests can also expect many attractions such as a visit from the magician Krabat, live music, a colouring street, bouncy castle, the energy mobile, coffee, cake and much more with free admission.

On the evening before (11.05., from 8 pm), a charity concert will be held in the Hafenstube in the Telux socio-cultural centre. Under the motto „Łužica rokuje / Lausitz rockt“, Paul Geigerzähler (violin punk from Berlin), Highway Patrol (mix of voodoo blues, wild rhythm & western soul from Halle) and Jacke Schwarz Bande (mix of blues, rock and folk from Berlin) will be performing. Admission: €10, under 20s free of charge. The first guests can expect a free keg of beer.
